Lectors and Announcers – Anunciadores y Lectores y Coordinador de la Misa

Announcers and Lectors are parts of one ministry. The announcer greets the congregation, leads the St. Theresa Rose Prayer, welcomes our new parishioners and visitors and reads the announcements before and during the Mass. In the absence of a Deacon, the announcer reads the Prayers of the Faithful. Lectors proclaim scripture readings at the Liturgy of the Word during Mass. Advance preparation is necessary when scheduled. Announcers and lectors are initially trained and attend an annual (4 hour) workshop. A quarterly schedule at one mass time is prepared for both. Mass Captain checks all ministers in and fills vacant spots.

Anunciadores y Lectores son parte del mismo Ministerio. Los Anunciadores saludan a la congregación, lidera la Oración de Santa Teresita y da la bienvenida a los nuevos feligreses y visitantes; también leer los anuncios antes y durante la misa. En ausencia del Diacono, el Anunciador leer las Oraciones de Fe. Los Lectores proclaman las escrituras en la Liturgia de la Palabra durante la Misa. Anunciadores y Lectores son entrenados inicialmente y adicionalmente atienden un taller de 4 horas anualmente. Cada trimestre se hace la programación de la participación en las misas para ambos. Los Coordinadores de las Misas son responsables de verificar que antes de la Misa estén presentes los Ministros necesarios y cubre los lugares vacantes.

Ushers seat, take up collections and usher at Communion during the Mass. Greeters, greet parishioners and visitors arriving for Mass. Both make sure the sanctuary is tidy before and after Mass and all doors locked in the church and hall at end of Mass Schedule.

Un ujier sienta, recoge las colectas y conduce la Comunión durante la misa. Grupo de Bienvenida, saluda a los feligreses y visitantes cuando llegan a la misa. Ambos grupos se aseguran que el santuario este ordenado y revisa que las puertas de la iglesia y el salón social queden cerradas.
